NFL Power Rankings Week 6 2025-2026 Season

The first month of the NFL season has been filled with chaos, comebacks, and statement wins-

Some teams are finding their rhythm, while others are already looking ahead to next year’s draft. Here’s how all 32 teams stack up after five weeks of football.

1. Detroit Lions (4-1) Last Week: 3

Since Week 1, the Lions have been the most consistent team in football. They now jump to the top spot after losses by both the Eagles and Bills.

2. Philadelphia Eagles (4-1) Last Week: 1

This is a week-to-week ranking system with a few extra factors I look at. The Eagles are still the defending champs and my pick to return to the Super Bowl. One loss doesn’t derail a team this talented.

3. Buffalo Bills (4-1) Last Week: 2

Tough home loss on Sunday night, but just like the Eagles, I’ve seen too much good to drop them far. The Bills remain my Super Bowl favorite in the AFC.

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-1) Last Week: 6

If Josh Allen somehow falls off the MVP pace, Baker Mayfield might be next in line. The Buccaneers are a legitimate force.

5. Washington Commanders (3-2) Last Week: 11

With the return of Jayden Daniels, all seems right again in D.C.

6. Indianapolis Colts (4-1) Last Week: 10

The Colts absolutely pummeled the Raiders on Sunday. This team is no longer fool’s gold they’re the real deal.

7. San Francisco 49ers (4-1) Last Week: 15

When Mac Jones left New England, few thought he’d amount to more than a backup. Now, fans in San Francisco want him to stay the guy over the $255 million man, Brock Purdy.

8. Denver Broncos (3-2) Last Week: 12

Down 17–3, the Broncos stunned the defending champs by scoring 18 unanswered in the fourth quarter. A massive statement win in Philly.

9. Los Angeles Rams (3-2) Last Week: 4

The Rams lost a heartbreaker in overtime on a questionable call by Sean McVay. Down three in OT, they went for it on 4th instead of tying the game and came up short.

10. Green Bay Packers (2-1-1) Last Week: 9

The Packers fall one spot after an idle week, as other teams impressed more.

11. Seattle Seahawks (3-2) Last Week: 7

An amazing game against the Buccaneers, but the defense let them down, giving up 38 points.

12. Jacksonville Jaguars (4-1) Last Week: 14

Jacksonville now sits at 4–1 with their first signature win of the year, taking down the Chiefs.

13. Pittsburgh Steelers (3-1) Last Week: 13

The Steelers were idle this week.

14. Los Angeles Chargers (3-2) Last Week: 5

A brutal second straight loss drops the Chargers nine spots. Justin Herbert and company get a slight reprieve heading to Miami next week.

15. New England Patriots (3-2) Last Week: 16

A huge road win in Buffalo. Drake Maye looked phenomenal easily his best NFL game yet. Stefon Diggs also had his best outing since joining New England.

16. Kansas City Chiefs (2-3) Last Week: 8

Tough Monday night loss filled with penalties and Mahomes miscues. Despite three early losses, the Chiefs remain a top contender.

17. Minnesota Vikings (3-2) Last Week: 18

Not the prettiest win, but the Vikings handled business in London against a determined Browns team.

18. Chicago Bears (2-2) Last Week: 17

The Bears fall one spot after an idle week as other teams played better.

19. Dallas Cowboys (2-2-1) Last Week: 19

The Cowboys played a strong game against the Jets but it’s the Jets, so take that for what it’s worth.

20. Houston Texans (2-3) Last Week: 21

After starting 0–3, Houston has posted two straight solid wins.

21. Atlanta Falcons (2-2) Last Week: 20

The Falcons drop a spot after being idle, as others outperformed them.

22. Carolina Panthers (2-3) Last Week: 27

Big comeback for Bryce Young and the Panthers against the Dolphins.

23. Arizona Cardinals (2-3) Last Week: 22

An ugly collapse after blowing a 21–3 lead to Tennessee.

24. Cleveland Browns (1-4) Last Week: 25

The Browns blew a late lead in London and now head to Pittsburgh for a rivalry matchup.

25. New Orleans Saints (1-4) Last Week: 31

The Saints looked solid against the Giants, but until they make a QB change, they remain a bottom-tier team.

26. Cincinnati Bengals (2-3) | Last Week: 30

Jake Browning finally found rhythm with the offense, but the Bengals’ season is lost. Hopefully Burrow returns fully healthy in 2026.

27. New York Giants (1-4) Last Week: 24

A brutal loss on Sunday, though it seems they’ve found their quarterback of the future.

28. Baltimore Ravens (1-4) Last Week: 23

The team I picked to reach the Super Bowl might now be more focused on draft position.

29. Miami Dolphins (1-4) Last Week: 28

The Dolphins blew a 17-point lead things are falling apart quickly in Miami.

30. Tennessee Titans (1-4) Last Week: 32

The Titans finally get their first win of the season in one of the wildest finishes we’ve seen all year.

31. Las Vegas Raiders (1-4) Last Week: 26

If the Jets had won a game, they’d be above the Raiders. This is a weak football team, though they’ve found a future star in RB Ashton Jeanty.

32. New York Jets (0-5) Last Week: 29

The score looked worse than what it was against Dallas. The Jets are now the league’s only winless team.

Closing Thoughts:

Powerhouses like the Lions and Buccaneers continue to prove they belong, while usual contenders such as the Chiefs and Ravens search for answers. With nearly a third of the season behind us, it’ll be curious to see if teams like the Patriots, Steelers, and Vikings can continue to stay hanging around and shake things up even more than how the season has already gone thus far.
