NFL Power Rankings – Week 8  2025-2026 Season

1. Green Bay Packers (4-1-1) 

The Packers have found their rhythm on both sides of the ball. Jordan Love looks calm, confident, and in command, while Green Bay’s defense continues to come up clutch in critical moments. 

2. Indianapolis Colts (6-1) 

Daniel Jones has been fantastic this season, showing leadership and composure in tight games. The Colts’ offense is clicking, and their defense continues to deliver when it matters most. Indianapolis looks like a complete team that’s here to stay. 

3. Detroit Lions (5-2) 

The Lions have looked outstanding this season. Jared Goff is in full control of the offense, Amon Ra St. Brown keeps making plays, and their big Monday Night win over Tampa Bay proved once again that Detroit is for real. 

4. Philadelphia Eagles (5-2) 

Saquon Barkley has struggled to get going early, but the offense around him hasn’t missed a beat. Despite a banged up offensive line, the unit continues to battle and perform at a high level, keeping Jalen Hurts upright and the Eagles’ offense flying. 

5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-2) 

Baker Mayfield continues to prove he’s the right man for the job, playing some of the most confident football of his career. The Bucs are sharp, focused, and clearly believe they belong among the NFC’s elite. 

6. San Francisco 49ers (5-2) 

With Brock Purdy sidelined, Mac Jones has stepped in and delivered. He’s been poised, accurate, and efficient, keeping the 49ers’ offense operating at a high level. San Francisco remains one of the most complete teams in the league. 

7. New England Patriots (5-2) 

Mike Vrabel has the Patriots looking dangerous again. Second year quarterback Drake Maye has been nothing short of electric, making pinpoint throws, showing incredible poise, and elevating everyone around him. New England looks ready to take the league by storm once more. 

8. Denver Broncos (5-2) 

Bo Nix, now in his second season, led one of the most incredible comebacks of the year, rallying Denver from a 19 point fourth quarter deficit to stun the Giants 33-32. The young quarterback looked sensational, guiding the offense with confidence and precision down the stretch. 

9. Buffalo Bills (4-2) 

The Bills were on a bye week, but a big challenge awaits: a road trip to face the surging 4-3 Carolina Panthers. Josh Allen and company will need to stay sharp as they look to keep pace in a crowded AFC. 

10. Kansas City Chiefs (4-3) 

After a slow start, the Chiefs look back in championship form. Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce have reestablished their rhythm, and the offense is starting to look dangerous again as Kansas City hits its stride.
