Thursday Night Football Final: Giants 34, Eagles 17

The Philadelphia Eagles were exposed on national television, getting absolutely gashed by the New York Giants and their electric rookie duo quarterback Jaxon Dart and running back Cam Skattebo. What began as a promising comeback quickly turned into a collapse for the reigning NFC powerhouse.

The Eagles found themselves in an early 13-3 hole before rallying to take a 17-13 lead, seemingly regaining control of the game. But from that point forward, the offense completely vanished. Philadelphia failed to score again, while the Giants dominated every phase down the stretch.

Rookie QB Jaxon Dart looked composed and confident, making big throws in key spots, while Cam Skattebo delivered a breakout performance with three rushing touchdowns, slicing through a Philadelphia defense that looked overmatched and out of sync.

For the Eagles, it’s a second straight loss their first time dropping back-to-back games since 2023 and their defensive issues are glaring. They struggled to stop the run, were torched through the air, and still can’t find a way to get Saquon Barkley consistently involved offensively.
